The liberalization of the energy markets in Germany has demanded an enforcement of the EnBW brand, in order to maintain its position among the laergest German energy supplying corporations.
Prior to the implementation of BrandMaker, the EnBW accomplished operational activities redundantly at different places within the organsation. Different agencies worked on different jobs and tasks. This led to dilution and different interpretation of the Corporate Identity. The information flow was not ideal between the different marketing divisions and there were only few possibilities how the marketing activities could be controlled.
The EnBW decided in favour of BrandMaker, because the system could be adjusted flexibly to the EnBW’s processes. Another important criterion on the part of the EnBW was BrandMaker’s broad application scope, not limiting the client in building a comprehensive corporate marketing platform as well as was the independence of the tool’s supplier from any other larger companies such as creative agency networks. Thus, the EnBW wasn’t running the risk to betake itself in dependence of a certain creative agency.
At the EnBW energy Baden-Württemberg the BrandMaker modules were implemented step-by-step and supported marketers at EnBW right from the beginning:
- High acceptance by the users in the marketing departments/divisions
- Accordance with Corporate Identity of activities and materials is given at any time. Assigned agencies are working with respect to the given standards.
- The Brand Management has become a key element in the marketing communication.
- Relief from operational tasks for marketing employees
- Further corporate brands will be integrated into BrandMaker
