With the new IMA technology from BrandMaker, media planning is easier than ever before

Intelligent Media Allocation-Technology: Automating Media Selection Easily

Karlsruhe, December 8, 2011 +++ BrandMaker, the leading provider of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) systems in Europe, is introducing its Intelligent Media Allocation (IMA) technology, which, thanks to intelligent algorithms, can derive actual media plans for marketing measures from range, campaign, and media data. In the age of the "media flood," the IMA technology automates the identification of the media channels predestined for the communication task at hand and thus optimizes media decisions in the long term. This cloud-based technology from BrandMaker allows the ongoing provision and multi-dimensional evaluation of a broad database in real time. To do this, the system relies on media data (target groups, frequency, sizes, prices, technical data, etc.), range data (readers, click rates, conversions, etc.) and campaign data (target groups, budgets, dates, key performance indicators, etc.). BrandMaker developed the algorithms for assessing, weighting, and selecting the media in question together with universities and scientists who are leaders in this field. "The advertising industry will achieve a more sensible allocation of its advertising money with the IMA technology. In addition, users can book media directly and cost-effectively – and thus save significantly," says BrandMaker CEO Mirko Holzer. "Our intelligent IMA technology is the logical answer to the exploding number of media channels."Based on a seamless integration with its MRM system, BrandMaker maps a continuous process and a seamless workflow. After approval of the plan positions determined and suggested by IMA, users can purchase the media services in question directly, call up appropriate documents via BrandMaker's integrated Media Asset Management system, and individualize them using a template in a Web-to-Publish module. The results achieved with the campaign will be evaluated by the system on the one hand for the actual performance review of the measure and on the other hand, will flow into the database as a closed loop in order to teach the system. There, they will serve as the basis for the planning of future campaigns. Thanks to the use of the latest cloud technologies, the system can also be rolled out in complex organizations and scaled at will.
