Reports and more

Data from one or several sources is kept centrally and clearly in order to create reports of various kinds.

  • All data relevant for reporting, whether from individual BrandMaker modules or third-party data sources, is kept in the Reporting Center and displayed clearly on a central platform.
  • This means that you can create interactive, pixel-perfect, and/or ad-hoc reports.
  • With the integrated Report Designer, you can compile ad-hoc reports independently using drag & drop and prepare them graphically.
  • Data can be displayed in tables or charts, and there are a lot of different chart types. Since the output is CI-compliant, the optically-appealing charts can be incorporated into other media (e.g. annual reports, presentations, etc.) and used there.
  • The reports can be generated for various output channels (Web, print, mobile devices) and published in PDF, XML, HTML, CSV, DOC or ODT formats.
  • Reports can be sent from the system as links or PDF attachments.
  • Using the drill-down function, you can get a detailed view of the data in order to trace each value back to its origins.

Dashboard

Clear compilation of important information for immediate insight in order to be able to react quickly and flexibly when necessary.

  • The dashboard can be configured user-specifically via drag & drop. This way, users have a view of the information relevant to them.
  • For a clear compilation of important information, data is combined with graphic indicators.
  • Individual parameters on the report and dashboard level allow a more interactive style of work.
  • The integrated search function helps you find particular data and reports quickly and in goal-oriented fashion.
  • Third-party content such as pictures, RSS feeds, cards, etc. can be incorporated via iFrame support in order to offer real time information from various public and non-public data sources in order to supplement the company's own information.

Analysis

Data query with high-performance relational OLAP or in-memory analysis with any data source.

  • BrandMaker Reporting Center allows the modeling, manipulation, and visualization of data with the help of OLAP or in-memory analysis functions.
  • During in-memory analyses, data from any sources (relational, non-relational, and user-defined sources) can be queried. Users have access to drill, slice&dice, pivot, and filter and chart functions.
  • With OLAP-supported and detailed data analyses, reaction times are shorter thanks to aggregation support. In addition, MDX calculations simplify complex analysis queries.

Data integration

The Reporting Center can be connected to data sources and supports graphic modeling in order to develop several process flows.

  • BrandMaker Reporting Center extracts, transforms, and loads data from various data sources into a data warehouse or a data mart.
  • Thanks to open interfaces, third-party systems and additional modules from the BrandMaker solution suite can be integrated seamlessly.
  • The connection of third-party systems extends to ERP and CRM applications (e.g. Salesforce.com, SAP), mainframe, transactional and analysis databases, and big data environments (Hive for Hadoop).

Web-based

Like all BrandMaker modules, the Reporting Center is also completely Web-based.

  • BrandMaker Reporting Center is completely Web-based so that no local software installation on the user's computer is required.
  • Use requires only a browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer) and an Internet connection.
  • Extensive security functions as well as individually-configurable rights and roles prevent unauthorized access.
