
Karlsruhe, March 24, 2009 +++ BrandMaker, a leading software provider in the field of Marketing Process Optimization (www.brandmaker.com), has announced the latest release of its successful Marketing Resource Management Software: BrandMaker 4.8. BrandMaker is in use in over 80 countries and is the single MRM solution optimizing the complete marketing process chain with its broad set of software modules. The enhancements in BrandMaker 4.8 especially affect the Media Pool and the Web-to-Print Module, the latter of which now contains a convenient live preview. The frontend of the Media Asset Management Module has undergone a redesign and now for example offers larger previews of media objects. The new “one click search” with a single search field provides even faster access to media objects. Moreover, the Media Pool provides a new keyword database for centrally approved keywords to tag media objects. For each media object, marketing employees can select keywords from standardized suggestions and tag new media objects with these keywords. This in turn supports better searching results, since any problems regarding different writing for the same keywords are now eliminated. A special feature of this new function is that new keywords are automatically requested at the central database administration when entered during the media upload. Thus, the central administrator is automatically notified about new keyword requests and an approval process is automatically initiated by the system.
BrandMaker 4.8 with new functions
“The new release 4.8 will support us to consequently strengthen our position among the leading providers of Media Asset Management and Web-to-Print solutions”, said Mirko Holzer, CEO of BrandMaker. “Altogether, we have added further optimization to the already extremely user-friendly handling of BrandMaker.” Besides the Media Pool, BrandMaker has also enhanced the Web-to-Print Module in version 4.8. A highlight is the new live preview during the editing process of print media. When the user for example creates a new advert with the tool, the convenient preview shows all changes made, e.g. texts that are being edited, and their effects to the print advert in real-time. Also, the process of creating new print media templates provides even more flexibility: During the upload and configuration of new templates, the users can now select image clippings of source images stored in the Media Pool – without any further necessity to edit images manually in a separate desktop tool, to newly upload these images and to newly define of the object as alternative image. This facilitates the template creation tremendously and reduces the number of variants of a single image stored in the Media Pool, thus providing further transparency of available media assets.
