With "Web-to-Mobile" Technology, BrandMaker opens up mobile end user devices for corporate communications

From the brochure to the iPad: an MRM system for all output channels

Karlsruhe, Germany – March 8, 2011 +++ BrandMaker, the largest European supplier of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) systems, will introduce a new technology with "Web-to-Mobile," which will allow media to be published easily on mobile end user devices such as the Apple iPad® and iPhone®. In addition to classic output channels such as advertisements, brochures, posters, PDF files, and banners, marketers can now also use mobile end user devices such as the iPad and iPhone – and thus open up entirely new fields of application. This new, Web-based publication tool from BrandMaker allows the easy creation and individual adaptation of advertising for mobile end user devices, which are playing an ever more important role in media usage.

BrandMaker's Web-to-Mobile solution is predestined for personalized sales presentations, where sales force employees would like to show the customer product data, images or other information. As a presentation tool, the Apple iPad® has many advantages as compared to classic paper media: the desired content can be found more quickly as well as sorted and grouped customer-specifically, and content can be linked to its multimedia enrichment. Marketers in all industries can profit from this – from automobile sales to financial and insurance sectors on through to consultation-intensive retail trades.

The new Web-to-Mobile solution is embedded in BrandMaker's comprehensive, modular corporate software for the planning and implementation of marketing activities. The MRM system also includes, in addition to planning and workflow tools, a Media Pool and a Web-based publication tool. To provide content for mobile end user devices, media already stored in BrandMaker can be made available or app-specific content can be generated using templates.

This new output channel offers additional advantages anywhere centrally-specified content needs to be tailored for publication locally or regionally. For example, branch offices are in a position to fill uniformly-designed templates with local specials from the nearest market at the time the content is called up.
