Carinthia Tourism implements new marketing planning and controlling system

Carinthia Advertising selects BrandMaker Marketing Planner

Karlsruhe, March 17, 2009 +++ The tourism advertising organization of Austria’s province Carinthia, “Kärnten Werbung Marketing & Innovationsmanagement GmbH”, has selected the BrandMaker Marketing Planner. BrandMaker, based in Karlsruhe, Germany, is Europe’s largest vendor of Marketing Resource Management software. Currently, the web-based BrandMaker Marketing Planner is being installed at Carinthia Advertising. From April on, the Marketing Planner will optimize the coordination, execution and controlling of marketing campaigns for the tourism region Carinthia. With the information exchange being automated by the software, planning and coordination workflows for all marketing activities are tremendously simplified and accelerated. The time-consuming creation of campaign summaries and reports will be available in the central tool in the future, thus easily accessible and usable. “A key function of the Marketing Planner is of course the measurement of the success we generate with the individual campaigns”, explained Werner Bilgram, Managing Director of Carinthia Advertising. “The BrandMaker Marketing Planner will enable us to accomplish this task with just a view clicks in the future.”


With transparency, traceability and effectiveness becoming more and more important for marketing organizations in general, Carinthia Advertising is now expanding its existing controlling system and will use the BrandMaker Marketing Planner as one of the first among Austria’s provincial tourism organizations. Besides Carinthia Advertising itself, the local regions and other cooperation partners will work with the Planner. Thus, an up-to-date overview of all marketing activities of Carinthia’s complete tourism network can be provided at any time. “By using a common planning and controlling tool in the province and its regions, we assure a further, optimized integration of all our tourism marketing fields”, said Carinthia’s Governor Gerhard Dörfler. “This step is setting the course for a constructive and future-oriented cooperation of all relevant forces.”
