Karlsruhe, September 14, 2010 +++ BrandMaker, Europe’s largest provider of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) Software, acquired the Dutch supermarket chain C1000 as new customer. Headquartered in Amersfoort, C1000 includes about 380 supermarkets, primarily independent companies, all over the Netherlands. With the Retail industry solution by BrandMaker C1000 will cover the entire process chain relating to the creation of advertising brochures – from the planning and graphic design to coordination and printing. The brochures will be distributed on a weekly basis to millions of households. C1000 also intends to handle the creation of the weekly promotional packages for the 380 supermarkets with BrandMaker Retail.
For Han Sijl, Head of the Marketing Department at C1000, the advantages of BrandMaker are obvious: “With BrandMaker we will require substantial less time e.g. in order to create advertising brochures. In addition to faster time-to-market, via standardization and partial automation in the production of advertising media we will also save considerable costs. Furthermore, with BrandMaker we are able to significantly reduce the complexity of the entire process.”

After a comprehensive tender process BrandMaker at the end was selected among four vendors from the shortlist. “BrandMaker covers already in the standard almost holistically the for C1000 relevant marketing processes “, says Jan-Frederik Kobus, Director Market and Product Development at the consulting firm 4 K Plus, who accompanied the selection process. “Also the high user-friendliness and guaranteed future of BrandMaker convinced us.” Following a pilot phase for the MRM industry solution in the fourth quarter of 2010, the implementation of the complete system is planned for the beginning of 2011. BrandMaker will also integrate its retail solution into Middleware by Oracle, used at C1000.
