
Karlsruhe, July 27, 2011 +++ BrandMaker GmbH, the leading European provider of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) systems, has acquired congstar GmbH, the second brand of Deutsche Telekom for DSL and mobile telephony, as a new customer. congstar selected the Marketing Planner module from the BrandMaker MRM solution suite in order to be able to organize and evaluate its numerous marketing activities topic-specifically. Marketing Planner provides the telecom discounter with a multi-dimensional overview of all marketing activities and partially-automated performance measurement according to figures collected in a structured manner.
congstar focuses on a young audience – the message of its introductory campaign in 2007 was ”Telecommunication as easy as fast food.” In accordance with the media behavior of this target group, congstar makes use of a wide variety of advertising media and communication channels. BrandMaker’s Marketing Planner helps the company to plan, budget, and control these activities in a structured way. It can be used to set campaign timelines, assign responsibilities, create to-do lists, and store file attachments such as invoices. The system of the Web-based Marketing Planner with its various dimensions and filters guarantees congstar an as-needed overview of all marketing measures and thus enables individualized reporting according to markets, seasons, core topics, organizational units, and disciplines.
In the second stage of expansion, congstar will import all invoices from the ERP system directly into Marketing Planner and automatically assign them to the marketing measure in question. On the basis of the imported invoice information, congstar will gain access to detailed reports and statistics for budget distribution as well as actual/target comparisons.
