This job awaits you:

As an IT administrator you will ensure the smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure of BrandMaker.

  • You are the first contact person for all users at the Karlsruhe location and in the home office in the area of IT administration
  • You prioritize and process tickets that are submitted via our ticket system on your own responsibility
  • You take over the administration of servers and clients (MS Windows Server from 2008 and Exchange from 2010) up to telecommunications
  • You take care of the installation, configuration and commissioning of software, systems and components and analyze and resolve emerging problems
  • You set up and maintain the hardware (computers, tablets, mobile phones, printers, etc.)
  • You take over the provision of IT equipment for new employees as well as its return
  • In order to guarantee a smooth process, you will work closely with external service providers in connection with IT services and internal interfaces (e.g. purchasing)
  • You maintain the inventory list for hardware, software and licenses.

You bring this for the job:

  • A completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable apprenticeship
  • Experience in a comparable position
  • Know-how in the development and maintenance of a secure and reliable IT infrastructure
  • Basic hardware knowledge
  • Experience in handling Windows and Linux servers, Windows and MacOS clients, Active Directory, MS Exchange and SQL Server, Java applications and IP telephony
  • Secure handling of TCP/IP in LAN and WAN, including routing, VPN, DHCP, DNS
  • Ideally experience with JIRA and/or other java-based applications
  • A structured, proactive, solution- and result-oriented working style
  • High customer orientation and reliability
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
